The sun was shining on Lycksele today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Solid Comet sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Thrillseeker sprinted to the front.




Rey De Hipódromo looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Solid Comet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Thrillseeker. Lightning Prince suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Thrillseeker followed by Solid Comet and Lightning Prince. Lane two Rey De Hipódromo followed by Sleeping Spring and Mon Ami.




Rey De Hipódromo suddenly took over the lead.



Rey De Hipódromo were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Per Gustafsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Rey De Hipódromo started to galopp and lost 10 m. Mon Ami was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Solid Comet won the race after a spectacular finish.
