One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Monte Carlo sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Hans Petter Tholfsen wanted a little to much in the start and Miss Oslo galoped for 40 m.




Golddigger saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Holy Cookie took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Monte Carlo followed by Holy Cookie and Tequila Sunrise. Lane two Great Big Boy followed by Here He Comes and Pathfinder. Monte Carlo started to gallop after 1500m and Jomar Blekkan had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Golddigger gallopped for 30 m.



driver couldn't keep Golddigger to trotting so they were disqualified. Monte Carlo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Great Big Boy won. Monte Carlo came in second. Holy Cookie caught third place.
