One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Zodiac found a gap and took the lead. Muskelen Manne followed before Fagerviks Sit Banquet.
Fagerviks Sit Banquet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Fagerviks Sit Banquet who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Fagerviks Sit Banquet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Zodiac suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.
Criminal Piece clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Hero sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
