The sun was shining on Mikkeli and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lullaby could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Mad Driver, Perfect Fliegend, Spring Is Here, Oggio Maria, Clé De Pologne, Lullaby, Dark Elf, Perfect Sunray.




Mad Driver was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Oggio Maria saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Spring Is Here started to gallop after 1500m and Juha Länsimäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Oggio Maria was still in the lead after 2000m.



Oggio Maria sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Lullaby sprinted over the finishline before Oggio Maria and Mad Driver.
