One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sussudio could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Stopping Thought quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Tranquility started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Sussudio looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Count On Me couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stopping Thought. Mercy Me suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Count On Me looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Stopping Thought couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sussudio.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused No Matter What galop. No Matter What lost 40 m.

Count On Me won the race after a spectacular finish.
