The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Heavy Box. Fair Brightness ended up behind the leader. Laughing Lolita got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and La Brilliance galoped for 10 m. Fair Brightness suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get Fair Brightness to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

Fair Brightness quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Dead Satellite who started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and La Brilliance took the lead rather easily. Fair Brightness galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Meridiana Mio Numero suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Dead Satellite galloped way to long and was disqualified. Skipping Nova galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one La Brilliance followed by Laughing Lolita and Mr Big Boy. Lane two Heavy Box followed by First To Speak and Walking Moonlight. Judas Priest galloped way to long and was disqualified.

La Brilliance kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Meridiana Mio Numero was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. La Brilliance sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

La Brilliance kept the speed the whole finish and won before Heavy Box and Laughing Lolita.
