One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sayanora Hotshot could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Gulden started to galop and lost 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Xmas Ytre, Sleepy Twister, The Prospector, Lind, Ernani, Sayanora Hotshot, Cajun King, Texas Cash. Gulden galloped way to long and was disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Ernani accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Sayanora Hotshot galoped for 10 m. Cajun King was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Sayanora Hotshot litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sayanora Hotshot kept the speed the whole finish and won before Ernani and Xmas Ytre.
