It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





North Carolina took the lead after a very quick start. Ola Samuelsson wanted a little to much in the start and Saltando Marziale galoped for 10 m. Carl-Erik Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Alex Kidd galoped for 40 m.




Mantle Piece quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Napo Leon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Walking Body couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mantle Piece.




North Carolina accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Lauvins Ligist speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Brave Trooper sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
