The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Mikkeli today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Paint It Black sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Claudette was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Funny Flashy Fia, Majestic Speed, Rusé Cauchemar, Turn Me Down, Rezaz, Claudette, Paint It Black, Leontine. A bird flew just in front of Moonboots who started to galop and lost 20 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Rusé Cauchemar saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Paint It Black started to gallop after 1500m and Veli-Erkki Paavola had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Walking Breeze gallopped for 20 m.



With only a little left of the race Paint It Black galoped for 50 m. Leontine galloped way to long and was disqualified. Rusé Cauchemar were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Final standings. 1 Rezaz, 2 Claudette, 3 Majestic Speed.
