One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Strikes At Midnight could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Diavolo was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Atomic Explosion sprinted to the front.




Atomic Explosion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Screaming Cruiser galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
