One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Just Thrasher. Greasepaint ended up behind the leader. Focused Mustache got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Just Thrasher started to galop and lost 50 m. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and In A Row galoped for 30 m.

Lex Hamac saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Focused Mustache who started to galop and lost 40 m. Tele Gnist started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Lex Hamac was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Focused Mustache was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Greasepaint looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. In A Row started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

St Patrick was first on the homestretch followed by Greasepaint and In A Row.

Winner of todays race was St Patrick. Greasepaint came in second. Lex Hamac became third.
