The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Romme this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Opal De Landemer took the lead after a very quick start. Champagne Girl suddenly started to galop. Jim Oscarsson had to struggle to get Champagne Girl to tror again and succeded after 40 m. When the startcar left the field Ghostly Winter started to galop and lost 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Galactica, Ghostly Winter, Killing Me Softly, Miss Carrot, Champagne Girl, Nightingale, Opal De Landemer, Stepping Closet. Opal De Landemer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Miss Carrot took the lead after 1000m. Ghostly Winter didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nightingale looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Champagne Girl to trotting so they were disqualified.



Opal De Landemer suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Ghostly Winter won the race after a spectacular finish.
