One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Travelling Thinker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Cornelias Method was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Rolling Necklace, Elegant Cookie, Mad Sugar, Travelling Thinker, Shining Lady, Floating Queen, Cornelias Method, . Floating Queen started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Cornelias Method galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Shining Lady sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Elegant Cookie galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Floating Queen galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.



Shining Lady sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.






Travelling Thinker never caught up with Shining Lady who won. Floating Queen came third.
