One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Goofy Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Blondie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Compagnon Par Réglement sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Screamer was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Power Missile looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Niagara Fall speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Tip Top showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Goofy Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
