The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Darth Vader took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




White Jacket sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Giant Captain showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Dude From Iceland looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rimanga Silenzio gallopped for 20 m. White Jacket galloped way to long and was disqualified. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lone Frenzy gallopped for 10 m.



Darth Vader was first on the homestretch followed by Dude From Iceland and Walking Scope.






Dude From Iceland sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
