Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kaukonen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beyond Sanity could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Horrible Princess took the lead after 1000m. Starshine Stardust didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Beyond Sanity galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Starshine Stardust was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
