One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giselle sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Hold On was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Prepare My Victory, The Penséman, Heavenly Whirlwind, Calming Stone, Passionated, John The Conqueror, Giselle, Hold On. A Red Planet galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Heavenly Whirlwind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Giselle couldn't come out from behind the leader, Prepare My Victory. Hold On galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Passionated galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Prepare My Victory followed by Giselle and Hold On. Lane two Heavenly Whirlwind followed by John The Conqueror and The Penséman. Something caused a disturbance in the field and John The Conqueror gallopped for 50 m. Hold On started to gallop after 1500m and Bo Eklöf had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Prepare My Victory were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Heavenly Whirlwind galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Hold On galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




John The Conqueror made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Giselle.
