It had been raining for several days at Oviken but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Knockout Wood found a gap and took the lead. Little Big Horse followed before Small Love.




Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Baltikum Rīga was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Small Love took the lead after 1000m. Whirlwind didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Small Love was still in the lead after 1500m.




Knockout Wood suddenly took over the lead.



Small Love was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Knockout Wood looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Kenth Åkerlund tried a little too much on the homestretch and Small Love started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Knockout Wood didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
