Only a humble breeze blew over Åmål this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Engel Risse.
Sergeant
Missile ended up behind the leader.
Ignatz got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Waving
Pie sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of
Flying Fighter who started to galop and lost 30 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Cute Apple saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Motorman Racer put some pressure on the leader and could take over.
With only a little left of the race
Flying Fighter galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race
Munga Jozef galoped for 10 m.
Sergeant
Missile litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Jan Hultman tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Engel Risse started to galopp and lost 10 m.
Winner of todays race was
Sergeant
Missile.
Ignatz came in second.
Motorman Racer became third.
