One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gorgeous Diary sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Gorgeous Diary was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Gorgeous Diary clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Mad Closet to trotting so they were disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gorgeous Diary today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Beautiful Rocket galoped for 40 m. Gorgeous Diary kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Rip Van Winkle galop. Rip Van Winkle lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Gorgeous Diary today who won before Helluva Finish and Beautiful Rocket.
