One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bricks Marlin could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Jörgen Sjunnesson wanted a little to much in the start and Midnight Mover galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Driver´s Choice started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Driver´s Choice sprinted to the front. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Von Schmeganhausen sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Driver´s Choice galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Von Schmeganhausen today. It continued in the lead. Pacemaker started to gallop after 1500m and Torbjörn Jansson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Pacemaker galoped for 30 m. Von Schmeganhausen looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Polished Stereo galop. Polished Stereo lost 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Bricks Marlin, 2 Von Schmeganhausen, 3 Admiral Satellite.
