Only a humble breeze blew over Kalmar this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flying Magpie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Criminal Viper, Rindis Strong Bear, Stunning Witch, Flying Magpie, Indépendant, Singing Princess, Yupiter De Suite, Slowroller Cherry.




The leader got disturbed by something and Flying Magpie took the lead rather easily.




Slowroller Cherry looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Burn The Cash galoped for 20 m. Flying Magpie speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Slowroller Cherry made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flying Magpie.
