The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





General Muscle sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Bad Boy Toker, Golic, Jean Pierre, Xmas Ytre, Donatello, Strömberg Di Ängel, General Muscle, King Of The Future.




Donatello took the lead after 1000m. General Muscle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Donatello followed by Strömberg Di Ängel and King Of The Future. Lane two General Muscle followed by Bad Boy Toker and Jean Pierre. Jean Pierre galloped for 30 m.



General Muscle was first on the homestretch followed by Donatello and Strömberg Di Ängel.

Bad Boy Toker was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Anders Christiansson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Rolling Moment started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Strömberg Di Ängel won the race after a spectacular finish.
