The sun was shining on Örebro today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bobby Joe found a gap and took the lead. Solid Missile followed before Whatever Cookie.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Alabama Rose took the lead after 1000m. Solid Missile didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Whatever Cookie galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Bobby Joe suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Alabama Rose followed by Bobby Joe and Roll Over Beethoven. Lane two Solid Missile followed by Hesellseashells and Corbona. Corbona started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Solid Missile galoped for 40 m. Alabama Rose looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Roll Over Beethoven galop. Roll Over Beethoven lost 10 m.




Alabama Rose didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
