The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fagerviks Admiral Sound took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Profiteer, Felicijus Bakaou, High Explosive, Focused Bomb, Fagerviks Admiral Sound, Popsicle, Tremendous Empire, King Of Kingdom.




Felicijus Bakaou looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fagerviks Admiral Sound couldn't come out from behind the leader, Profiteer.




Tremendous Empire saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Tremendous Empire didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Focused Bomb galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Fagerviks Admiral Sound speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Felicijus Bakaou won. Popsicle came in second. Fagerviks Admiral Sound caught third place.
