One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Count My Steps could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Palle Günther wanted a little to much in the start and Pathfinder galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Elephants On Parade started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Stepping Diary, Invisible Sound, Glowing Wave, Golden Sculpture, Flying Warrior, Elegant Starshine, Count My Steps, Libra.

Stepping Diary was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Elephants On Parade was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Stepping Diary was still in the lead after 1500m. Elegant Starshine showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Invisible Sound suddenly took over the lead.

Invisible Sound kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Elephants On Parade galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Invisible Sound was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Count My Steps made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stepping Diary.
