The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Hotel sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Stråleglans Dame quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Good Looking Strategy took the lead after 1000m. Giovanna didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Good Looking Strategy followed by Giovanna and Blue Hotel. Lane two Amstaff Cherry followed by Perfect Silverheart and Rusé Cauchemar.




Good Looking Strategy sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Perfect Silverheart was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Good Looking Strategy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Giovanna won the race after a spectacular finish.
