One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gorgeous Queen. Solskin ended up behind the leader. Addicted To Rain got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Solskin suddenly started to galop. Øystein Tjomsland had to struggle to get Solskin to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 0 m.

Jack Of Diamonds saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Lough Sheelin took the lead after 1000m. Mad Garden didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
