One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funny Grey Rat could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Claes Eskilsson wanted a little to much in the start and Big Steady Cherry galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Why This Beauty clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Amstaff Cherry galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Funny Grey Rat followed by Recurring Dream and Slow Devil. Lane two Dingle followed by Black Line and Why This Beauty.



Dingle looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Amstaff Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Recurring Dream never caught up with Funny Grey Rat who won. Bold Ruby came third.
