The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Queen Nessie. Magic Atmosphere ended up behind the leader. Emerald got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Queen Nessie galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field On Ice started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Pretty Nova, Queen Nessie, Sommarstrålen, Emerald, Two Snake Eyes, Magic Atmosphere, On Ice, The Hurricane. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. On My Mind galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pretty Nova followed by Magic Atmosphere and Emerald. Lane two Queen Nessie followed by Sommarstrålen and Seulement. Unknown galloped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and On Ice gallopped for 30 m.




Queen Nessie seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Queen Nessie were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

I'm All Yours galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Magic Atmosphere won. Emerald came in second. Pretty Nova caught third place.
