One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Mustache found a gap and took the lead. Tord Ängel followed before Quick Box. When the startcar left the field I Will Survive started to galop and lost 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Nato Lottatore started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Walking Love looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quick Box couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Mustache.




Punching Mustache was still in the lead after 1500m.



Quick Box suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused I Will Survive galop. I Will Survive lost 40 m.




Tord Ängel won the race after a spectacular finish.
