One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Amstaff Cherry. Light Sound ended up behind the leader. Maximus got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. T-bone Walker, Foot Tapper, Champion Crowe, Amstaff Cherry, Light Sound, Maximus, Seducer, Lieutenant Map.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Amstaff Cherry accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Amstaff Cherry kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Amstaff Cherry sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Harald Sandström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Funky Necklace started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Champion Crowe never caught up with Amstaff Cherry who won. Maximus came third.
