One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Valentino Rossi took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Stopping Play started to galop and lost 10 m.




Funky Sunshine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Pointing Starshine who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Valentino Rossi took the lead after 1000m. Stopping Play didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Ozanne galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Lacy Heart galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Stopping Play accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Stopping Play started to gallop after 1500m and Daniel Olsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Moët Chandon galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Pointing Starshine galloped way to long and was disqualified. Stopping Play looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Stopping Play kept the speed the whole finish and won before Valentino Rossi and Colombe.
