One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Strategy found a gap and took the lead. Quick Box followed before Special George. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Quick Box started to galop and lost 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Special George looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quick Box couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Strategy. Quick Box was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Punching Strategy was still in the lead after 1500m.



Punching Strategy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Quick Box won the race after a spectacular finish.
