Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Hankasalmi track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Power Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
Moment In Truth sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Power Man accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Power Man didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Moment In Truth was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
Moment In Truth showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Shooting
Angel suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Moment In Truth galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
Power Man won the race after a spectacular finish.
