The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Vechten Geest. Playing Queen ended up behind the leader. Les Le Temps got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Vechten Geest was in fine shape and held the lead.

Guardian took the lead after 1000m. Playing Queen didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Guardian followed by Vechten Geest and Les Le Temps. Lane two Playing Queen followed by Giant Prince and Royal Prince. Royal Prince started to gallop after 1500m and Carl-Erik Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Guardian sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Giant Prince won the race after a spectacular finish.
