The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Karlshamn this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Steady Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




New Varenne saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




New Varenne clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Smoother Then Ever saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Smoother Then Ever kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Xistorra started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Zweite Chance won. New Varenne came in second. Smoother Then Ever caught third place.
