One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bold Pearl found a gap and took the lead. Shiny Rose followed before Holy News.

Holy News saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Stifling Tropic who started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Bold Pearl accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Holy News gallopped for 30 m.

Bold Pearl kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Scottish Rolls-royce sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
