One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mascerinne sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Flower Red started to galop and lost 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Lovende Sterne, Stepping Grove, Key Shot, Flower Red, Mascerinne, Virtuale, Wondering Witch, Criminal Deal.

Lovende Sterne was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Wondering Witch galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lovende Sterne followed by Stepping Grove and Mascerinne. Lane two Flower Red followed by Virtuale and Jumping Meadow. Mascerinne started to gallop after 1500m and Carl-Erik Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Key Shot galoped for 50 m. Lovende Sterne were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Stepping Grove made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flower Red.
