One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sweeper could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Floweret clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Sweeper suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Higher Ground followed by Floweret and Piqûre D'abeille. Lane two Sweeper followed by Sunbeam Clover and Arc Perle.




Higher Ground was still in the lead after 2000m.



Higher Ground kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sweeper. Higher Ground came in second. Floweret became third.
