Only a humble breeze blew over Lindesberg this day. The track where in perfect shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pretty Cake. Gambling Prince ended up behind the leader. Weekend Master got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field High Reputation started to galop and lost 10 m. Whatever Cookie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. High Reputation galloped way to long and was disqualified. Gambling Prince looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pretty Cake couldn't come out from behind the leader, Whatever Cookie. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatever Cookie followed by Gambling Prince and Happy Flower. Lane two Pretty Cake followed by Weekend Master and Dream That Stands. Pretty Cake litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Pretty Cake kept the speed the whole finish and won before Gambling Prince and Whatever Cookie. Results
