One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Melbourne For Ever. Butterball ended up behind the leader. Way To Go got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 10 m. driver couldn't keep High Class Jewel to trotting so they were disqualified. Jomar Blekkan wanted a little to much in the start and Counterfeit Ruby galoped for 30 m.

Way To Go quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Way To Go was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Inn Fremtid galoped after 1000m and lost 0 m.

Indépendant accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 30 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 40 m.

Indépendant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

High Class Jewel galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Melbourne For Ever won. Indépendant came in second. Butterball caught third place.
