The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nato Lottatore could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Ultime Survivre saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Tell Me More sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Nato Lottatore galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Väinämöinen followed by Ransom and Moonlight Pie. Lane two Tell Me More followed by Ultime Survivre and Finally Found You.



With only a little left of the race Grey Collar American galoped for 10 m. Tell Me More was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Ransom litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Ransom. Ultime Survivre came in second. Väinämöinen became third.
