One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nickel Romeo took the lead after a very quick start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.




Lonely Starlight quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nickel Romeo galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lonely Starlight today. It continued in the lead. Famous Thought galloped for 20 m.



Lonely Starlight were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

driver couldn't keep Nickel Romeo to trotting so they were disqualified.




Famous Thought won. Ipred came in second. Lonely Starlight caught third place.
