One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just Now could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Light Piece saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Bombardier looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lucia Syrakusa couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Piece. Sergeant Bandwith galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.



Power Behemoth looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Just Now couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tempting Grove.

Bombardier galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Power Behemoth sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
