Fastest of them all were Américain Pierce. Heavy Action ended up behind the leader. Coughing Closet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Américain Pierce was in fine shape and held the lead. Coughing Closet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Heavy Action couldn't come out from behind the leader, Américain Pierce. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Américain Pierce followed by Heavy Action and . Lane two Coughing Closet followed by and . driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Américain Pierce was still in the lead after 2000m. Coughing Closet gallopped 30 m after 2000m. Américain Pierce kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Veli-Erkki Paavola tried a little too much on the homestretch and Heavy Action started to galopp and lost 40 m. Coughing Closet never caught up with Américain Pierce who won. Heavy Action came third.
