One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

So Damn Brilliant sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Galway sprinted to the front. Zubarev started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Gingerbreadman took the lead rather easily.

Gingerbreadman was still in the lead after 1500m.

Carbon speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gingerbreadman won the race after a spectacular finish.
