The sun was shining on Mantorp and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bright Side Victory took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Happy started to galop and lost 50 m.

Explode At Track quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Mars who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Explode At Track clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Comfortable Paradigm galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Shriekback saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Soft Cornetto started to gallop after 1500m and Torbjörn Jansson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Shriekback were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Final standings. 1 Christmas Surprise, 2 Bright Side Victory, 3 Shriekback.
