One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Dove Heart. Eight One Six ended up behind the leader. Close Fist got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Progressive Line sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Richiedente Il Trophy who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Scotty Doesn't Know sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Scotty Doesn't Know today. It continued in the lead.

Diamond General was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Diamond General galoped for 20 m. Eight One Six was first on the homestretch followed by Close Fist and Max Moon.

Max Moon won the race after a spectacular finish.
