The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Guardian Angel. Pointing Meadow ended up behind the leader. Hard Rocker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Frozen Giggle started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Pointing Meadow, Powerful Folder, Quick Box, Hard Rocker, Gentleman Platinum, Guardian Angel, Lucky Witch, Clever Behemoth.

Quick Box looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lucky Witch couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pointing Meadow.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pointing Meadow today. It continued in the lead.

Quick Box took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Pointing Meadow galoped for 20 m. Hard Rocker was first on the homestretch followed by Quick Box and Guardian Angel.

Pointing Meadow was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Guardian Angel sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
